Evidence means the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid.
Evidence is an audiovisual montage that crosses the work of Arthur Rimbaud, Antonin Artaud and René Daumal in their journeys to new horizons.
Stimulated by these metaphysical journeys, the music and sound composition of Perfect Vision is the starting point for this new multidisciplinary exhibition, collectively designed by Soundwalk Collective and Patti Smith for the Centre Pompidou.
Have you ever visited the Centre Pompidou?
According to this video, tourists don’t know about it …
Undoubtedly a nice way to promote yourself, anyway I guess if I agree.
I’ve been there every time I’ve been lucky enough to visit Paris, and I find it hard to believe that tourists ignore it.
Of course the gimmick of the QR code embedded is rather ingenious, or is it?
Especially when I think that we visited Paris following complimentary hotel maps with all the Metro lines … yes, it was just that couple of years and technological eras ago … 🙂
Incidentally, “chatting” through the comments with Olivia, I was just remembering our attempts to ask for coffee by repeating serré over and over again in the vain hope of drinking it as short as possible …
Also pictured is Patti Smith, portrayed by Annie Leibovitz, having coffee at Café de Flore, in Paris.
Patti said in an interview that Evidence is about travel.
Smiling, I think of the Pompidou Center’s gadgets: inspired by the classic souvenirs commonly considered as a “proof” of travel to be carried as a souvenir to display at home, or as a thought for friends and acquaintances.
So what is the proof, that is, the gadget you purchased during one of your trips that you particularly cherish?
Ah! Anche ho acquistato un vestito napolitano ed altro prét-a-portê della MYA. Tutte belle! ❤️💐💖
Elaine li immagino belli BELLI entrambi!!
Di che colore sono?
Sono andata a cercare alcune foto della MYA perché ero molto curiosa.
At the moment, my favourite proof of travel is the perfume “Kuznetsov Most” by New Dawn, which I purchased on one of Moscow’s oldest streets, the Old Arbat, in the western part of Russia’s capital, close to the Ministry of Exterior Affairs and to my favourite bookshop: “Dom Knigi” (House of Books), on New Arbat. Old Arbat and New Arbat are two streets running parallel to each other.
Another souvenir and proof of travel that I bought is a new book about the Bolshoi Theatre, published by one of its former soloist dancers, Nikolai Tsiskaridze. He is of Georgian origin but has lived in Russia all of his life.He danced in the Bolshoi of Moscow, now he is teaching at a ballet academy in Saint Petersburg. This book is on the Russian bestseller list this week, on place number 2.
Olivia your perfumes are unique and precious!
“Kuznetsov Most” takes on even more value because it is also a dear memory.
For bookstores I have a weakness and therefore I imagine the beauty of this House of books between two parallel roads.
The best-selling book written by a dancer is also very very very interesting.
Thanks for telling me this Olivia!
My bottle of “Kuznetsky Most” is nearly empty. I think I need another one. I really like this aroma.
So it’s almost time to head back to Old Arbat for a new purchase!
Good!
Olivia unfortunately I am late on your blog and comments are already closed, but I would like to tell you anyway:
Olivia you have an impeccable taste in combining images and colors in sequences that turn into real sensory journeys in which you go from the desire to dive among the autumnal leaves with those two cute dogs, to the desire to enjoy a delicious slice of cake!
And then clothes, artistic bottles, music, sounds …
VERY BEAUTIFUL.
Thank you for the kind compliments, Claudia. You are flattering me.
It’s the simple truth Olivia: the compliments are well deserved!
I wonder who is “clicking down” your articles, Claudia. Instead of 5 little yellow stars giving only four or three? It is such an unfriendly act. If people do not like your articles, they should stay away. I find it very impolite to give “bad marks”.
This happened also to my three articles about the Russian gypsy singers, Claudia. I do not know why. Maybe it is a prejudice against gypsies? Normally my articles never get “bad marks” but these three did. I wish that people who do not like gypsies would stay away. Nobody is forced to read my blog. It is a matter of personal choice, an act of free will ….
In my case I do not know, I would also be curious to know who reads, but that’s okay: I’m not a good writer like you.
In your case, however, you are right: your articles are always absolutely thorough and complete.
Do you really think that someone doesn’t like Gypsies? Worse for them: it means they can’t see beyond their nose.
If I could I would give you ten stars! Or even more!
It is not only about gypsies, Claudia.
Now I see that my articles are being clicked down systematically. I do not know who it is, I imagine it could be someone who does not like Russia. I publish exclusively Russian themes. This might be disturbing for some people, especially since Wordpres is a US affair.
By “clicked” do you mean you have views?
Usually being clicked is good, but then your next consideration saddens me: why should your arguments disturb? You spread culture and disseminate interesting and instructive information!
I did not express myself properly. Regarding the little yellow stars, which mean evaluation, I have one or two persons, who give me a low rate. Probably zero stars. So the average is three or four yellow little stars under the post. Not that it matters much – but I check it and notice it.
Regarding “likes”, which means people with their avatars click the like button, I get over 100 likes for each post, for the older ones often more than 200 likes, so I cannot complain at all.
The daily average of “views” varies, between 10 and 300; depending on the day, the theme, the weather, the mood – whatever!
Oh wow! So BIG success!! Those who don’t click on the yellow stars may be envious … I, on the other hand, congratulate you from the bottom of my heart because you deserve.
